BREEAM Finder app
In June 2017, BREEAM launched a new app, intended to help users find out what BREEAM rating a building has, find information about a nearby BREEAM building, or find a local BREEAM assessor.
The UK BREEAM Finder app uses BREEAM’s API technology to take a user's current location, or UK postcode information, to locate the relevant information.
Using the app, it is possible to locate the relevant BREEAM information for assessors, assessments or APs, within a specified radius of a location or UK postcode. Users can see the contact information, address and BREEAM rating in the BRE GreenBook .
The app development was funded by the BRE Trust, the largest UK charity dedicated specifically to research and education in the built environment, and is available for both Android and iOS.
Globally there are more than 500,000 BREEAM certified developments in over 70 countries, and more than 2 million buildings registered for assessment since it was first launched in 1990.
The UK BREEAM Finder app uses the BREEAM Application Programming Interface (API), an online service that can allow live access to BREEAM-related data.
